Oil makes what the world takes. Oil is everyone’s business these dazes of doom and gloom headline news.
Production is slightly up; over last year. Up enough to say so but production could be much more.
Restrictions from, of all people, Natives of Alaska. Anti-drilling activists visited federal officials this week to lobby against drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and on offshore sites in Alaska.
Perhaps the natives forgot; the more drilling, the more revenues each year, each citizen.
Oil companies are ready, willing and able as employment stays near record levels published this month.
Both oil and gas land leases are bid on. To the state; 8.5 million, for the U.S. overall, the numbers of active gas and oil rigs are up by 21, from a publication in October of this year, 2009.
The federal Minerals Management Service this week deemed Shell Oil’s application to drill exploration wells in the Chukchi Sea next year to be complete but not before they face the EnviroMentalists’ lawsuit.
