Lookin’ Like A Fool With My Birth Certficiate On My Head
by Tom RemingtonAugust 30, 2010
One of the better enjoyments we get from politicians, and doubly so from presidents, is when their actions provide us with the opportunity at humor. President Obama is no exception. Even though many have feared to make jokes and laugh at the man, for varied ridiculous reasons, we all must laugh out loud that he felt compelled to tell the American people that he “doesn’t have time to run around with his birth certificate plastered on his head”. No, sir. It would seriously cut into his golf game.

by Tom RemingtonJuly 6, 2010
A reader sent me six short videos he collected from his trail camera in Northern Maine. First you’ll see a Canada lynx, followed by a black bear and two cubs and finishes with a moose. It’s very interesting in that all the videos were taken from the same camera at the exact same site.

Separation Of Church And State In Our Declaration of Independence?
by Tom RemingtonJune 4, 2010
I was watching the History Channel last night when I heard a man state that Benjamin Franklin insisted that Thomas Jefferson’s word, “sacred” be changed to “self-evident” in order that we ensure separation of Church and State. I disagree with that assertion.

Obama Just Smart Enough To Keep Stupid People Following Him
by Tom RemingtonMay 10, 2010
In Obama’s recent rant about how modern technology and 24/7 information is disturbing his version of democracy, only a stupid person would listen to what he said and think it at all valid; Especially when he tells his listeners that “education” will lift them above this useless technology. What is it that Obama thinks was behind the creation of this technology if it wasn’t “education”?
*Update* What’s most enjoyable about doing commentary on leftist issues is that it brings out the very people to whom I’m addressing and I want to thank them for confirming the very topic of my commentary. Today it is “stupid”.
So I’ll start a list of the “stupid” comments found at the Youtube comment section where my videos are.
1. wow pathetic using a random quote out of a presentation that focused on empowerment and? not only that u must think that the people watching are morons because what the President was said was just because we now have all these various technologies does not me that the information that we recieve is accurate so we must strive to depend on more than just these mediums go read his full speach before commenting asshole

Wolf Science: A Political Football
by Tom RemingtonMay 6, 2010
It started in 1987 when Ed Bangs, the Department of Interior and all the wolf-lover environmentalists sold their idea to the American people, specifically those in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, that 30 breeding pairs of wolves and 300 total wolves would be all that was needed to declare wolf recovery a success. It’s now 2010 and some estimates easily put wolf populations in those three states at over 2,000 and Ed Bangs and the same group are telling the same citizens they need more wolves.
An article yesterday in the Jackson Hole News and Guide quotes Bangs as now saying 45 breeding pairs and 450 wolves will “never be threatened”. I guess Bangs doesn’t learn from his first mistake. In 1987, 30 pairs and 300 wolves would easily do the trick, why should anybody believe for one second that his statement today is any more honest than the ones he made 25 years ago?
It’s clear the feds set the rules, we play by their rules and when the rules don’t fit the game they are playing, they change the rules. Bangs admits that the first day on the job for wolf recovery he knew 30 pairs of wolves wouldn’t be enough and we should trust him now when he tells us 45 will never be threatened?
This kind of political manipulation has to end now.

Wolf Wars And Media Manipulation By The Left
by Tom RemingtonApril 23, 2010
For far too long the environmentalists/animal rights/anti-hunting groups have had their way with little or no opposition. They have pushed their agendas to the point of serious infringement on the rights of American citizens. Now, with people organizing and groups getting their act together, they are fighting back and the environmentalists don’t like it one bit. They also are not used to opposition. They are, however, quite accustomed to manipulating the media to fight their public relations battles.
Such is the case in the Northern Rockies area where the people are fighting back and now the environmentalists are using the media to demonize those pushing back, painting them as liars, polarizing the issue, misguiding the citizens, etc. Don’t be caught up in this giant media deception.

We’re All Hypocrites!
by Tom RemingtonApril 12, 2010
We can all be hypocritical in some fashion but the blatant stuff is enough to drive a man crazy. How many times have you heard someone excitedly dumping on the Obama Administration because of the growth of government, the loss of rights and the destruction of our capitalistic and free enterprise society? Only to turn around in the next breath and demand that government fix a problem you don’t particularly like.
We can’t cherry pick our freedoms and demand prohibition on everything we don’t approve of.

Mind Over Matter – Harry Reid Matches Wits With A Fish
by Tom RemingtonApril 6, 2010
We’ve all heard the expression, “mind over matter”. For years I’ve always said that if you don’t have a mind, it don’t much matter.
Today I venture off into some combination of mindless satire, cynicism, hunting and fishing humor and poking fun of the lack of intelligence that seems to embody the halls of Washington these days. Listen in and watch and discover what happens when Sen. Majority Leader, Harry Reid, goes fishing with the Dali Lama and Harry tries to match his brain power with that of a fish. It’s really just an issue of “Mind Over Matter”.
