Knee-Jerk Criticism From Civil Rights Lobby Hurts Race Relations

Black Conservatives Question Criticism of Beck Rally

Washington, D.C. – Members of the Project 21 black leadership network question the sincerity of establishment civil rights leaders opposing talk show host Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally at the Lincoln Memorial August 28.

That date is the 47th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech at the Lincoln Memorial.

“If this place and time is so sacred, why didn’t Al Sharpton or the NAACP already have a permit to use the Lincoln Memorial that day before Beck ever sought one?” asked Project 21 member Lisa Fritsch. “Beck’s critics will surely fail if their goal is simply to criticize him for celebrating spirituality and love of country. They may be envious of Beck and scratching their heads that they didn’t think of it first, and that’s something they’ll have to look into their own hearts to figure out.”

According its web site, Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally is intended to “celebrate America by honoring our heroes, our heritage and our future” and “pays tribute to America’s service personnel and other upstanding citizens who embody our nation’s founding principles of integrity, truth and honor.” Political signs are discouraged from the event. Beck, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, Dr. Alveda King (niece of Dr. King and a member of Project 21) and decorated Navy veteran Marcus Luttrell are among the scheduled speakers.

While Beck stresses a positive and apolitical message, the civil rights lobby apparently refuses to exhibit the tolerance it demands of others when it comes to the “Restore Honor” rally. This concerns many Project 21 members, who see these special interests as actually harming race relations in the long term.

“Liberals are quick to ask for tolerance when it comes to putting a permanent mosque next to Ground Zero, but they were quick to oppose Beck using the Lincoln Memorial on the King anniversary or possibly ever. It’s a double-standard,” said Project 21 member Jimmie Hollis, who plans to attend the August 28 event.

Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli, who is also planning to be at the Beck event, added: “During these trying times of economic uncertainty and high unemployment, Americas need to rally behind core principles of truth and honor. We need to break away from the race-baiting antics and grand standing from Al Sharpton. Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor’ rally is a great way to bring freedom-loving Americans together to instill hope and promote our core values that made America great.”

What America sees as heroic – and what it doesn’t

I got this in an email, and it struck a chord with me. H/T to Lenny!

On Friday, August 6, David C. Dolby passed away suddenly in Spirit Lake, Idaho at the age of 64. Childless, Mr. Dolby had lived in virtual seclusion in the town of Barto, PA since the passing of his wife in 1987. Barto is so small and insignificant the Rand McNally Atlas doesn’t even list it in its appendix. Mr. Dolby’s passing went so unnoticed that even his hometown paper didn’t acknowledge it. His passing was announced by an organization to which he belonged. Evidently most felt Mr. Dolby’s death didn’t merit any notice at all and almost nobody gave it a thought. He apparently hadn’t done anything in his life to merit any special attention.

Three days later, on Monday, August 9, Steven Slater, a childish, immature loser who up until that day had pretty much gone as unnoticed as David Dolby, threw a temper tantrum on a Jet Blue airplane at John F. Kennedy airport because his personal pet peeve is luggage that shifts during flight (or maybe it was tray tables not being in their upright and locked position). Since acting like a spoiled 16 year old, he has been featured on every major news network in the country, his face is on the front page of numerous national publications, Facebook pages have been established to “honor” him, and Mr. Slater has been called a “hero” by people we are supposed to believe know what that term means.

Only in today’s America, Mr. Slater will, in all likelihood, stretch his 15 minutes of infamy into 30 and end up making an obscene amount of money from, and revered by, some folks in our great nation who believe that Mr. Slater’s parents actually DIDN'T pollute the gene pool. He will be interviewed by Today, the Early Show, Good Morning America. He’ll appear on Leno, Conan, Letterman. He’ll become what we in America these days view as “somebody”. He’ll be given praise he doesn’t deserve and labels he never earned. He apparently has done something that merits special attention.

In the meantime, later this week a funeral service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery. There won’t be any press there, and likely only a handful of mourners who had the privilege to know David Dolby. And there will probably be a few guys there that are fellow members of the organization that announced his passing: the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.

Awards Medal of Honor

David Charles Dolby (May 14, 1946 – August 6, 2010) was a United States Army soldier who received the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions in the Vietnam War.

Dolby was born on May 14, 1946, in Norristown, Pennsylvania.[1] His father, Charles L. Dolby, was a personnel manager for B.F. Goodrich Company in Oaks, Pennsylvania. He had a younger brother, Daniel.[2]

Dolby joined the Army from Philadelphia and by May 21, 1966, was serving in the Republic of Vietnam as a specialist four with Company B, 1st Battalion (Airborne), 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile). On that day, his platoon came under heavy fire which killed six soldiers and wounded a number of others, including the platoon leader. Throughout the ensuing four-hour battle, Dolby led his platoon in its defense, organized the extraction of the wounded, and directed artillery fire despite close-range attacks from enemy snipers and automatic weapons. He single-handedly attacked the hostile positions and silenced three machine guns, allowing a friendly force to execute a flank attack.[1]

Dolby was subsequently promoted to sergeant and awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the battle.[1] The medal was formally presented to him by President Lyndon B. Johnson on September 28, 1967.[3]

In addition to the 1965–66 tour in which he earned the Medal of Honor, Dolby was deployed four more times to Vietnam. In 1967 he served there with the 101st Airborne Division, in 1969 with the 75th Ranger Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, in 1970 as an advisor to the Vietnamese Rangers, and in 1971 as an advisor to the Royal Cambodian Army.[4]

Dolby married but had no children. After his wife Xuan's death around 1987, he lived quietly in southeastern Pennsylvania. Over the last 20 years, Dolby attended many veterans events around the U.S. and once opened the New York Stock Exchange on Veterans Day. He most recently worked to bring attention to the neglected Medal of Honor Grove at the Freedoms Foundation in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

Dolby died at age 64 on the morning of August 6, 2010, while visiting Spirit Lake, Idaho, for a veterans' gathering. The cause of death has not been announced, and funeral arrangements at Arlington National Cemetery are pending.[5]

Medal of Honor citation reads:

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty, when his platoon, while advancing tactically, suddenly came under intense fire from the enemy located on a ridge immediately to the front. Six members of the platoon were killed instantly and a number were wounded, including the platoon leader. Sgt. Dolby's every move brought fire from the enemy. However, aware that the platoon leader was critically wounded, and that the platoon was in a precarious situation, Sgt. Dolby moved the wounded men to safety and deployed the remainder of the platoon to engage the enemy. Subsequently, his dying platoon leader ordered Sgt. Dolby to withdraw the forward elements to rejoin the platoon. Despite the continuing intense enemy fire and with utter disregard for his own safety, Sgt. Dolby positioned able-bodied men to cover the withdrawal of the forward elements, assisted the wounded to the new position, and he, alone, attacked enemy positions until his ammunition was expended. Replenishing his ammunition, he returned to the area of most intense action, single-handedly killed 3 enemy machine gunners and neutralized the enemy fire, thus enabling friendly elements on the flank to advance on the enemy redoubt. He defied the enemy fire to personally carry a seriously wounded soldier to safety where he could be treated and, returning to the forward area, he crawled through withering fire to within 50 meters of the enemy bunkers and threw smoke grenades to mark them for air strikes. Although repeatedly under fire at close range from enemy snipers and automatic weapons, Sgt. Dolby directed artillery fire on the enemy and succeeded in silencing several enemy weapons. He remained in his exposed location until his comrades had displaced to more secure positions. His actions of unsurpassed valor during 4 hours of intense combat were a source of inspiration to his entire company, contributed significantly to the success of the overall assault on the enemy position, and were directly responsible for saving the lives of a number of his fellow soldiers. Sgt. Dolby's heroism was in the highest tradition of the U.S. Army

Of Obama and integrity (or lack thereof)

by GunRights4US

August 19, 2010

George W Bush was routinely called a liar by a broad segment of society as you might recall. Now before you go thinking this is in defense of Bush, let me say very clearly Au Contraire. Being no fan of Bush, I am only using him to offer contrast to the treatment of our current ruler, the Mighty Kenyan.

Obama was very clear all throughout his campaign that transparency would be the hallmark of his administration, and toward that end he very specifically promised that all of the negotiations regarding the then proposed healthcare reform legislation would be broadcast on C-span. These promises of full disclosure are on film for all to see, and they are unequivocal by anybody’s standard. But when it actually happened, the healthcare legislation passage was the epitome of backroom wheeling and dealing.

He lied.

On the subject of GITMO, Obama the candidate promised to close the prison there. Again these promises were unequivocal, and publicly stated on multiple occasions. Other than a handful of detainees being transferred out, the facility at GITMO remains in full operation and shows no signs of closure.

He lied.

Obama told America repeatedly and loudly that no one’s taxes would go up if they made less than $200,000 a year. Now several different money amounts were bandied about, but the point he was making was that the American middle class would not be shackled with new income taxes. Now this one has not completely played all the way out, but does anyone in their right mind believe that the American middle class isn’t going to be slapped with additional taxes? Obama vehemently told George Stephanopolis in a televised interview that the mandated cost of buying health insurance was NOT a tax. Then when challenged in court, his administration argued that the mandate for individuals to buy healthcare coverage was indeed a tax, and thus was fully constitutional under the interstate commerce clause of the Constitution.

He lied.

These are just three salient examples. An honest viewer of the political scene should have no trouble coming up with many more examples of Obama’s complete lack of integrity.

Now a question: Why hasn’t the denunciation so commonly used for Bush attached itself to Obama? Why aren’t we daily hearing the refrain of “Obama lied…”? That’s a rhetorical question of course. I damn well know the answer.

Now an observation: When I was in the Marines we were taught that there were fourteen leadership traits. They are as follows

Judgment
Justice
Dependability
Integrity
Decisiveness
Tact
I… (this one I couldn’t remember – but not bad for being out for 25 years huh?)
Endurance
Bearing
Unselfishness
Courage
Knowledge
Loyalty
Enthusiasm

These character traits were held forth to all Marines as what it takes to make a good leader. Now can we all agree that a president needs to be at least a “good” leader? When a young Marine goes before a promotion board he/she is likely to be asked what’s the most important of all the leadership traits. The answer is of course integrity, because without integrity all the other traits are pretty much worthless.

It would seem to me that our Dear Leader - he who aspires to rule over us - is utterly lacking in the most important trait of leadership!

The truth is never popular

by Greg Farber

August 12, 2010

This article will not be popular but it is necessary medicine if we White American men are to turn to the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World. For we must begin with a godly sorrow and truly repent of our sins, believe the gospel of the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus. Then, by the faith of the Son of God given to us—that faith being a fruit of the Spirit—we must utterly refuse to continue mass-murdering the Shia Muslims of Iraq. Gentlemen, we have been duped into fighting the 12th Crusade of the Pope of Rome: we must wake up before it is to late for us, our families and our country. We have innocent blood on our hands, and we are deserving of national judgment if we repent not.

About a year ago, your editor reviewed the noted documentary film, No End In Sight. Just yesterday he reviewed the recently released movie Green Zone. Both movies tell the same terrible story. The highlights of those painful films are these:

1. U.S Forces in Iraq discovered no Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). Iraq’s program intending to develop WMDs was abandoned in 1991, over ten years before the bombing of Baghdad. This means the primary reason for the American invasion of Iraq on March 19, 2003, was premised upon a LIE! a damnable, diabolical, depressing LIE! To this day, no WMDs have been discovered in Iraq and President George W. Bush even joked about this bitter reality before the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, March 24, 2004. The man who championed the 911 attack as a work of “Al Qaeda” and who later stated that the fact of Iraq having WMDs was “a slam dunk” was Jesuit Georgetown University-trained Knight of Malta and DCI George J. Tenet—the altar boy of Knight of Malta Edward Cardinal Egan. For this great show, President Bush gave Knight Tenet the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

2. After the successful “overthrow” of (Jesuit/CIA-creation) Saddam Hussein, American “Governor of Iraq” and CFR-member L. Paul Bremer III disbanded the Iraqi Army, rendering every former soldier, especially those in the Republican Guard, a criminal if he dared to wear a uniform. This was done over the objections of several high-level American officers. Therefore, we are forced to conclude Washington FULLY INTENDED to create chaos and the subsequent civil war in Iraq between the Sunnis, Shia and Kurds.

3. The outlawing of the Iraqi Army, a force that could have brought stability to the nation and the early departure of U.S. Forces, created “The Insurgency” within a week after Bremer made his “decree.” This criminal act of the calculating and cunning L. Paul Bremer III ignited a civil war and solidified organized military resistance to American Forces in Iraq. Every bullet or IED that has killed or maimed every American soldier has been fired or set off by the very Iraqi soldiers outlawed by L. Paul Bremer III, that agent for Skull and Bonesman, President George W. Bush.

Since the above three facts cannot be refuted, for they are part of admitted public record, we must conclude the following:

1. Every Iraqi that has been killed since its invasion of March 19, 2003, has been MURDERED by the military forces of the the Pope of Rome, which forces have been led by the U.S. Government.

2. Every American soldier hurt, maimed or killed since the invasion of March 19, 2003, has been MAULED or MURDERED by “The Insurgency” created by the policies of the Pope of Rome through his agent, the U.S. Government. American soldiers are not “American heroes;” rather, they are “Roman crusaders” as was your editor when garrisoned in West Germany for nearly four years.

3. Every dollar spent in financing this war benefiting the Pope of Rome in defending his Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem (Israel) and his rebuilding of the Revived Kingdom of Babylon (Iraq) has been spent ILLEGALLY by the U.S. Congress also having consented to the CRIMINAL INVASION of Iraq. Every American paying the income/excise/privilege tax in financing this 12th Papal Crusade is a party to the CRIMINAL INVASION of Iraq and MASS-MURDER of the Iraqi people who were never a threat to the American people.

White men, and especially White Brothers in Christ Jesus, it is time to repent of our sins of commission—the murder of a people that had nothing to do with 911 and whose government had no WMDs! It is time to repent of our sins of omission—the refusal to face ourselves and think, then act in righteousness in resisting the occult forces having brought this stupendous shame upon our nation and people. For those forces are subject to the Society of Jesus whose Superior General rules the Pope of Rome, the American Roman Hierarchy, the secret societies in control of the CFR-directed government of 14th Amendment America and nearly every detail of our very lives. We must repent, we must return to the reading of the AV1611 Reformation English Bible, we must realize our duty to God and man and then we may be restored to the old paths of righteousness in Christ by the intervening power of the risen Lord Jesus Christ.

The God who will put the Satan’s Jesuits to flight!

What should have been added to this video is the devilish quote of an ultimate terrorist known as Knight of Malta, Henry ‘popish’ Kissinger saying “Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.” All these soldiers are following the orders of KING JUAN CARLOS the powerful ‘CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES’ within the ultra powerful EQUESTRIAN ORDER OF THE HOLY SEPULCHRE OF JERUSALEM.

U.S. Marines boot recruits with Confederate tattoos
You won't believe what military thinks of historic Southern symbol

A widely regarded Southern symbol of pride and states' rights is standing in the way of would-be Marines in their quest to serve their country – a Confederate battle flag.

Straight out of high school, one 18-year-old Tennessee man was determined to serve his country as a Marine. His friend said he passed the pre-enlistment tests and physical exams and looked forward with excitement to the day he would ship out to boot camp.

But there would be no shouting drill instructors, no rigorous physical training and no action-packed stories for the aspiring Marine to share with his family.

Shortly before he was scheduled to leave Nashville for boot camp, the Marine Corps rejected him.

Now, the young man, who wishes to remain unnamed and declined to be interviewed, has chosen to return to school and is no longer an aspiring Marine.

"I think he just wants to let it go," said former Marine 1st Lt. Gene Andrews, a friend of the man and patriotic Southerner who served in Vietnam from 1968 through 1971. Andrews is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, a group of male descendents of Confederate soldiers. He counseled the young man when he decided to become a Marine.

"He had been talking to me, and he was all fired up about joining," he told WND. "He asked my opinion of it, and I just tried to tell him the truth, good points and bad points."

When the young recruit didn't go to boot camp, Andrews learned of his rejection based on his tattoo of the Confederate battle flag on his shoulder.

Read the rest here.

GR4U - I've spent most of my life studying Marine Corps history, and it is a fact that Southerners have always comprised a disproportionate percentage of combat Marines. But I guess in these politically correct times, that no longer matters. This truly sickens and disgusts me. The thought has crossed my mind to go get a Confederate Flag tattooed over my Marine Corps Emblem tattoo.

For the first time, details of America’s nuclear stockpile have been released

by GunRights4US

May 5, 2010

Another big "Thank You" is in order for the Obongo administration!

Read about it here:

Yesterday, the Obama administration released the DoD's official nuclear stockpile figures. For decades, the size and shape of America's atomic arsenal have been deliberately kept secret, and for good reason. There's always been a calculated sense of ambiguity around our nuclear forces and our deterrence strategies, with the logic being that an enemy --if left to speculate about how, when, where, and if we'd use our nukes-- would err on the side of caution and keep his fangs tucked.
